Functional Designation : Regional Sales Manager (2 positions)

Job Grade: Deputy Manager / Manager

Responsibility Summary:
Achieve business objectives of assigned region through efficient management of sales team and channel partner. Responsible to collect adequate data and information required to forecast sales and design dealer management strategies for the assigned region. Train and develop the regional team to ensure future business growth of the organization.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting the company management to develop business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensure attainment of company goals and potentiality.
  2. Prepare regional action plans to ensure effective search of sales lead, prospects and market penetration. Leading team members towards sales target with assistance as and when require.
  3. Managing, leading, keep motivating the Area Managers/Territory Executives to achieve regional business target (sales, collection, profitability, customer satisfaction, retention).
  4. Create new channels, manage channel portfolio and periodic channel performance review to guide for maximize revenue maintaining two way profitable relationship with sustainable business growth.
  5. Review dealers, trade patrons/ retailers’ current stock and to make sure that to maintain Stock Coverage Ratio (SCR) and counter folio reports on regular basis.
  6. To analyze and monitor customer feedback database to measure success and identify sales fluctuations/trends so as to decide on the relevant actions to be taken.
  7. Develop KPI with team members to monitor individual performance and provide timely feedback to senior management including individual development in-put.

Education: Post Graduate (Preferably MBA)

Experience: 8-10 Years (2 years in the similar position)

Additional Requirement:

  1. This position requires a high level of leadership and negotiation skill to ensure smooth operation of the entire regional team.
  2. Capable to analyze market trend and future potential and provide strategic input to the company for long-term business plan.
  3. Sound financial knowledge to ensure minimal operational cost while maximizing regional profitability.
