Functional Designation : Head of Sales (1 position)

Job Grade : AGM - DGM

Responsibility Summary:
Achieve national business target through efficient management of sales team and channel partner. Responsible to collect adequate data and information required to forecast sales and design dealer management policies and strategies for National operation. Train and develop the total sales team to ensure future business growth of the organization.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting the company management to develop business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensure attainment of company goals and potentiality.
  2. Advising RSMs in preparing effective action plan in line with the national action plans to ensure effective search of sales lead, prospects and market penetration. Leading team members towards sales target with assistance as and when require.
  3. Ensuring effective execution of sales strategies in achieving overall business target managing national sales channel (i.e. Dealer/Corporate/Institution/Retail) while focusing on sustainable sales growth.
  4. Proactively seek for the business opportunities and leads and turn those to profitable business conclusion addressing the potential threats to grab the opportunities.
  5. Managing, leading, keep motivating the RSMs/ASMs to achieve respective business target (Sales, collection, profitability, customer satisfaction, retention).
  6. Guiding and advising team to create new channels, manage channel portfolio and periodic channel performance review to guide for maximize revenue maintaining two way profitable relationship with sustainable business growth.
  7. To analyze and monitor customer feedback database to measure success and identify sales fluctuations/trends so as to decide on the relevant actions to be taken.
  8. Develop KPI with team members to monitor individual performance and provide timely feedback to senior management including individual development in-put.

Education: Post Graduate (Preferably MBA)

Experience: 13 - 15 Years (3 years in the national sales role)

Additional Requirement:

  1. This position requires a high level of leadership strength to manage a motivated sales team.
  2. Capable to analyze market trend and provide strategic input to the company for long-term business plan.
  3. Sound financial knowledge to minimize operational cost while maximizing profitability.
  4. Proactive, strong negotiation and communication skill to ensure business development at national level.
  5. Comprehend in designing Marketing & Sales plan based on realistic facts and figures.
