Job Responsibilities

  • GBV Case Management Officer will be responsible for overseeing of all GBV case management and ensure maintain of confidential filing system. She will provide guidance on GBV case management to case workers and provide direct support to complicated cases. Supervise and support mobile teams on appropriated referral.
  • Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality for all case-related information; protect the identities of clients in the design and implementation of all activities
  • Assess the knowledge and utilization of health and other services available for survivors of GBV.
  • Conduct vulnerability and risk assessment visits to identify risks faced by women, men, boys and girls and people of gender and sexual minorities in their communities and mitigate these risks through referrals to other partners, provision of in-house services and advocacy
  • Provide training and coaching GBV case management to case workers in Women Friendly Space.
  • Capacity building and supervise case workers.
  • Case Management; close monitor GBV case management and provide direct assist to complicated GBV cases
  • Maintain confidential case filing system
  • Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor degree (Social workers, Psychology, Nurse, Public health, relevant degree)

Additional Requirements

  • Only Females are allowed to apply
  • Experience in GBV case management
  • Able to provide training in GBV Case Management and/or Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in humanitarian context
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity, prior experience in Rohingya camps is preferable
  • Previous experience with case management and case filing system strongly preferred
