MSB is looking for a Manager – Demand Creation to support the centres channel with developing and operationalizing demand generation and behaviour change initiatives, driving the demand for MSB services making use of MSI global goods and best practices ensuring highest level of client service experience in MSB centers. The position will be based in Head Office, Dhaka and have two (2) vacancies.

Key Role:

  • Support Marketing Director and Contact Centre manager to generate and improve MSB brand awareness, demand creation strategies and client referral networks in the centres channel by analysis of existing activities, application of global best practices (including MSI Success Models) to develop strategies and initiatives with the outcomes being improved uptake of contraceptive services and reduction of unsafe abortion.
  • Ensure that implementation of the MSI communication strategy in the centres channel is aligned to MSI’s behaviour change framework, organisational and brand values, and marketing best practice.
  • Support centre managers to develop, test and roll out new demand creation activities tailored to the centre catchment area, including the use and management of community mobilisers and field workers.
  • Work closely with the RME team to ensure that the necessary systems are in place to effectively monitor and measure the impact of marketing activities in the centres channel. 
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, account business plans and goals. Support the development of annual marketing plans and ensure the effective delivery of the demand creation plan.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the customer client base and competition. Search for new market opportunities to increase existing commercial portfolio in the private sector within Bangladesh.
  • Work closely with Operations Managers to manage and track performance of centre field staff, including developing and tracking progress against work plans and targets.
  • Support the Corporate Services and External Relations and New Business Development departments with relevant inputs into donor reports and proposals.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, advertising or behaviour change with Master’s degree in Marketing or Management/ MBA in Marketing.
  • Relevant experience in women’s reproductive health - highly desirable.
  • Experience in supporting design, development and implementation of marketing or communication strategies for different audiences essential;
  • Demonstrated success in audience-centered and insight-driven marketing initiatives – essential; Experience in interpreting and using qualitative and quantitative research results for operational decision making;
