Job Description / Responsibility

• Creating unique apparel for local market especially for western dresses.
• Having ability to make Shirt, T-shirt, Jeans, Panjabi, fatua, etc. Getting ideas on styling & conceptual works.
• Research and develop new findings, fabrics, trims, and labels. Present sketches as directed by Head of Design.
• Also having skills on every medium of surface ornamentation like machine embroidery, hand embroidery, hand work, dyeing, printing & any type of innovative medium.
• Ideas of fashion pattern making/construction.
• Research the market to stay current on color direction, trends, styling and washes. Read trade and fashion magazines and competitive shopping.
• Fabrication of initial trend/design packs.
• Create thorough initial spec sheets.

Educational Requirements

• Graduation/ Diploma in Fashion Designing from  any reputed Local/Foreign fashions institute (Shanto Mariam/BIFT will be given preferences).
• Foreign Nationals are specially encouraged to apply.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 to 8 year(s).
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Fashion Design.

Additional Job Requirements

• Age should be below 45.
• Creative skills: Illustrator, Photoshop and sketch/art.
• Color sensibility.
• Effective time management and ability to stay organized.
• Solid sense of creating designs ensuring they reflect targeted market profiles.

Salary Range

• Negotiable.
