• Report to: Intervention Specialist, M4C

Job Description / Responsibility

• This is a key position within the MJSKS-M4C project team, reporting to the Intervention Specialist of MJSKS-M4C Project. The incumbent will broadly be responsible for managing, designing, implementation and monitoring of assigned project activates in Kurigram District along with M4C's district team. Specific duties and responsibilities are mentioned below:
• Conduct market research and identify key success factors and systemic constraints on specific intervention area (s) across sectors e.g. agro-input supply, output market, financial services.
• Roll out interventions through further planning and coordination with other team members and selected public/private market actors.
• Ensure regular follow-up of activities in the field and report in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper planning and implementation of activities through fortnightly and monthly planning, supervise and develop capacity of field officers.
• Address cross-cutting issues (DRR, Gender, Do-know harm, inclusion of poor, etc.)
• Support M4C's MRM team and contribute to the MRM process; conduct studies, use special monitoring tools, etc.
• Maintain liason with project stakeholders and represent the project in suitable platforms.
• Other Duties and Responsibilities: Any other task assigned by the supervisor. The incumbent perform his duties in timely manner that are beyond the scope of the job description given above.

Educational Requirements:

Graduate in Agriculture, Business, Economics, Development Studies or relevant discipline from recognized institution 

Experience Requirements: At least 5 year(s)

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years experience in the development field in rural areas of Bangladesh (Applicant having working experience in the chars and market system development will be given preference)
• Satisfactory communication skill (both in English and Bangla).
• Negotiation, problem solving and relationship skills.
• Skills on MS Office application (MS word, MS excel, power point and access).
• Willingness to travel extensively within the project field locations.
• Able to drive motor cycle having valid driving license.
• Working Conditions and Environment: This will be according to project/staff manual.

Job Location: Kurigram

Salary Range: BDT: 37,400/- plus annual bonus, life insurance, etc.
