Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) invites applications from Bangladeshi nationals for the following positions of “Women’s Voice and Leadership-Bangladesh (WVLB)” project, funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC). The goal of the WVLB project is to support the capacity and activities of local and regional women’s organizations and movements seeking to empower women and girls, advance the protection of women’s and girls’ rights and achieve gender equality.

Deputy Program Manager (Monitoring and Evaluation) Post: 01


Deputy Program Manager-M&E will be responsible to contribute for monitoring and evaluation initiatives of the project. (1) S/he will be responsible to develop M&E system for WVL Project including implementing partners and establishing, modifying and monitoring key performance indicators; (2) review regular project progress reports and will collaborate with the other colleagues to prepare periodic reports; (3) develop data collection tools and analyse quantitative and qualitative data regularly & produce report.; (4) coordinate and manage baseline, research, survey, evaluation and report writing; (5) measure project results and fulfil targets, accordingly will provide feedback to project team for corrective actions.

Required Qualification and skill: The incumbent must have

  • Master’s Degree preferably in social science/Statistics with minimum 8 years’ experience in development sector as M&E professional;
  • Proven experience in conducting research and in-depth understanding both in quantitative and qualitative research methodology.  
  • Good level of proficiency in MS office and statistical software (SPSS/STATA) for quantitative analysis;
  • Proven experience on developing project design and evaluation independently; ability to design M&E tools, surveys and evaluations.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and build capacity of others;
  • Ability to analyse data and prepare report, will have strong interpersonal skills and managerial capacity, proficient in both Bangla and English language;
  • Acquainted with various law and policies of Bangladesh and in-depth understanding on human rights, gender equality and women situation of Bangladesh.
  • Proven working experience in GAC implemented project in Bangladesh will be added advantage.

The position is based in Dhaka with minimum 50% of time travel outside of Dhaka in remote locations of Bangladesh
