Office receptionist support receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcome, directing and announcing them appropriately. Answering screening and forwarding incoming phone.

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationary and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filling, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.

Education level and/or relevant experience(s)
  • More than Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) is preferable
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
  • Proficiency in English and Bengali for writing and communications skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training, physical or mental abilities required)
  • High Communication skill
  • Professional attitude and appearance
