Midland East Power Ltd is a subsidiary of Midland Power Co. Ltd. (under YOUTH GROUP) a 150 MW HFO IPP Power Plant under construction at Ashugonj, Brahmanbaria. The only product of the company is electricity which will be offloaded to the national grid through Bangladesh Power Development Board.

Currently the company is looking for a B.Sc Engineer (EEE) in the following position

• Serves as a shift in charge/Maintenance Team leader (Electrical).
• Ensure smooth operation of HFO fired Engine and Alternator, LO/HFO separator, Booster module, Water Treatment Plant, Fuel Treatment Plant, Auxiliary boiler and exhaust gas boilers.
• To Plan Maintenance Schedule as per LDC Demand for minimize Outage. Maintains supplies inventory by checking material stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting requisition for electrical material; reviewing and approving invoices;
• Meets electrical maintenance optimum breakdown by forecasting healthiness of equipment’s condition, analyzing failure root cause and initiating corrective actions.
• Generate daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports.
• Additional responsibility to Supervising as a Workplace Safety & Health.
• Monthly & Weekly Maintenance Forecast planning as per NLDC demand.
• Overall Maintenance Documentation & CMMS used for Maintenance.
• Coordinate with Company personnel, Contractors to schedule project meetings.
• Inspection, analysis, record calibration results for Overall Maintenance Dept.
• Report and analyze on Power Plant Efficiency.

• B. Sc Engineer (Electrical & Electronics)
• Preference will be given to the Candidates of BUET, RUET, KUET and CUET.

• 5 - 10 years (in relevant field)

• Relevant experience in HFO power plant
• Sound knowledge on HFO power plant equipment’s, substation and switchgear system;
• Electrical and Electronics Troubleshooting knowledge;
• Staffing and Technical Leadership;
• Technical Understanding,
• Equipment Maintenance and Safety Management;
• Attention to Details and Conceptual Skills;
• Supply Management and Facilities Management Systems.
