Assistant Manager, Training & Development

The incumbent will report to Senior Manager, HR and Administration.

S/he will be primarily responsible to -

  • Identify training needs & requirements to improve customer service in Meena Bazar outlets.
  • Design training programs based on the service standards requirement & to address the weaknesses of sales team of outlets.
  • Frequent visits to Outlets to follow-up the implementation of training learning in Outlets.
  • Work closely with Outlet Managers on the floor to improve the service areas that requires more attention.
  • Provide on-the-job training to staffs at Meena Bazar outlets.
  • Review and continually improve training programs to ensure it remains up to date.
  • Maintain training related reporting structure and feedback mechanism between Outlets & Training & Development unit.
  • Assist to develop yearly training budget and training plan.

Requirements:

  • Masters in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • Al least 3-4 years job experience in core training & development functions.
  • Experience in service industry (i.e. hotel & restaurant, retail etc.) is preferred.
  • Candidates with foreign exposure of Retail industry will also get preference.
  • Excellent communication skills with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office & Outlook.
  • Able to work in a team as well as independently.

Job location: Head Office, Dhaka (with frequent visits to Meena Bazar outlets)
