Head of Maintenance Engineer

Job Context :  Prefabricated Steel Structure manufacturing company

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Practical experiences on all kinds of electrical machineries/ equipments/ works.
  • Electrical planning and designing of industrial installations & machines etc
  • Responsible for periodic and schedule maintenance of all machines and equipment of the factory.
  • To ensure preventing maintenance of machinery and equipment from damage and obsolescence.
  • Responsible to ensure optimum utilization of energy (power, air, gas, etc.) and measure units of utilities outsourced, produced, utilized and waste through monthly reporting.
  • Ensure zero down time through preventive maintenance and relevant reporting.
  • Prepare SOP for maintenance of plant & machinery and utilities installation of the factory.
  • Monitor & supervise all the utilities issues such as air compressor, diesel & gas generator, machine hydraulic oil and others related machinery.
  • Ensure proper monitoring & follow up routine for schedule maintenance. Including break down maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting maintenance etc.
  • Have to take responsibility that all machines are running in good condition
  • Maintain overall Mechanical, Electrical and utility works of the factory
  • Direct or participate in supervision to layout, installations of the equipment & machinery, testing and operation.
  • Supervise and maintenance of the factory substation.
  • Supervise and maintenance of the factory Generator.
  • Perform PLC input data and setting parameter at machine.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machine breakdown.
  • Provide technical support to production & quality team in continuous improvement
  • Plan, organize, coordinate and execute all maintenance activities (both Scheduled and unscheduled).
  • Organizing routine servicing schedules.
  • Work together with process & production team to troubleshoot process related issue.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science/Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering or EEE from any reputed public/private university. (Preferable - BUET, CUET, KUET, RUET, IUT, AUST etc.)

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 7 year(s)
  • Age 27 to 35 year(s)
  • Only males are allowed to apply.
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Operation & Maintenance
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Prefabricated Steel Structure manufacturing company
  • Capable to motivate and lead a maintenance team.
  • Capable to work erection and commission of various machineries.
  • Fluent in Bangla & English
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Should have excellent interpersonal skills, positive & flexible attitude and
  • Should have 3-5 years experience of hands-on Prefabricated Steel Structure manufacturing Machine maintenance experience preferably in a reputed of company.
  • Must have very good knowledge of Prefabricated Steel Structure manufacturing machinery.
  • Should be able to anticipate and provide solutions to the problems.

Job Location : Gazipur

Salary Range: Negotiable
