Currently Marico Bangladesh Limited is hiring in below mentioned position:

Job Title: Officer - Supply Chain (Indirect Buying)

Location: Dhaka

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Procurement Operations:
    • Procurement of consumer promotion & trade promotion gift items for sales and marketing team
    • Procurement of PVC/Vinyl/Flex for bill board, Point of Sales Materials, offset & digital printing materials i.e. Poster, Bunting, Dangler, Wobblers, Trade Sticker, Shelf Talker, etc.
    • Procurement of merchandising materials i.e. Field standing unit, Product display unit, Display hanger, Shelf in shelf, Product display corner, Wall/Panel painting, Shop sign, Shop board etc.
  • Assist in Vendor selection & ordering process:
    • Receive approved Purchase requisition from user team in SAP or manual format and SOW if applicable
    • Analyze Business requirements
    • Floating RFQ
    • Obtaining quotes and prepares SOQ (statement of qualification)/CS
    • Completion of negotiation
  • Assist in Negotiation:
    • Developing cost models
    • Negotiating with vendors
    • Alternative sourcing of materials

Qualifications:

  • BBA/MBA or Engineering Graduates with 1-2 years in relevant supply chain areas  
  • Proficiency in all MS Office Excel, Word & Power point is a prerequisite
  • Knowledge in ERP software like SAP will be added advantage
  • Knowledge on Supply Chain or Certification in SCM will get preference
