Currently Marico Bangladesh Limited is hiring in below mentioned position:

Job Title: Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager – Supply Chain

Location: Dhaka

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for RM, PM sourcing and procurement. Ability to negotiate with different suppliers and service providers, developed effective sourcing and procurement strategy to optimize cost, quality and service level
  • Follow up the execution of orders, imports, production and dispatch plan with all stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Handling Import and commercial activities of all RM, PM, FG & Factory Machineries/Spares of the company
  • Drive export/import process for repair & return of the machineries/mould and other materials is essential
  • Close coordination with freight forwarders/shipping lines and other export-import logistics service providers
  • Maintaining relationship with Gov’t & regulatory bodies related with import & export and customs
  • Remain up to date on Gov’t rules, regulations, national budget, laws & orders impacting import/export operations
  • Have to play important roles in handling of all inbound logistics (Customs + C&F + Transportation)
  • The incumbent will have active participation in different kinds of logistics projects of the company
  • Collaborate  in Material requirement planning & import planning as per the production forecast
  • Ensure uninterrupted supply of all RM & PM as per production requirement and follow up closely
  • Maintain Proper relation and regulatory compliance with Customs Authority and other related bodies

Qualifications:

  • BBA/ MBA or Engineering Graduates with 4-5 years in relevant supply chain areas  
  • Proficiency in all MS Office Excel, Word & Power point is a prerequisite
  • Knowledge in ERP software like SAP will be added advantage
  • Knowledge on Supply Chain or Certification in SCM will get preference
  • The incumbent has to have sound ability and expertise in import/export, customs clearance, C&F handling, International Ocean, air and road freight, dealing with freight forwarders and shipping lines etc.
