Job Title: Garment Technician
                    LPP SA, Bangladesh Liaison Office

No. of Vacancy: 01 (One)

Technician will be mainly responsible for:

  • Control factories  in terms of process analysis and correctness of operations on productions
  • Catching erroneous process in operation
  • “Know- how” implementation on production

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum Graduate and able to speak/write in English to communicate Polish stuffs

Experience:

  • At least 5-7years. Min 2years in reputed European Liaison office.

General Requirement:

  • Candidates having professional degree in Apparel Merchandising would be given preference
  • The applicants must have at least 5-7 years’ experience in garment technology fields with at least 2 years in same position with any reputed multinational Liaison Office.
  • Having excellent product knowledge with capacity of handling very demanding and renowned customers
  • Should have experience and strong knowledge in the field of in garments Factory
  • Should able to prepare, develop Pattern independently
  • Must have knowledge on pattern making and grading. (Manual & Software)
  • Conversant with handling world famous European demanding customers
  • Able to anticipate problems and provide constructive solutions
  • Should have good knowledge over pattern making and garment manufacturing.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English
  • Having excellent e-mail communication skill with MS office operation.
  • Must be dynamic, energetic, self-motivated and self-organized with a positive attitude
  • Need to have experience in woven trouser, shirts and knit products.

Major Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and enforce CAD standards and organize the CAD environment.
  • Workout the most efficient consumption for all buyers' orders/styles using CAD.
  • Verify & check the patterns to ensure accuracy of the measurements of the garments.
  • Ensure cost reduction by achieving optimum efficiency of CAD, and making hundred percent accurate markers.
  • Provide trainings for suppliers, introduction of recommended standards across all subcategories
  • Support in creation of standards
  • Giving a feedback regarding supplier’s production capabilities
  • Check fitting in dummy and comment, development and PP samples, for Poland office.

Job Location: Office in Banani and travelling to factory mostly.
