Job Description / Responsibility:

• This position is for Longla Community Center
• Directs the sales effort, follows booking procedures and execution of contracts for convention and meeting activity. The Manager is responsible for performing related sales functions for all conventions, meetings, wedding receptions, banquets and social events. This role also solicits and develops new business on a local, statewide and national scale and provides guidance for meeting planners requiring assistance.
• Ensures the successful achievement of the community center’s short and long-term sales & operational goals and objectives
• Issues client contracts and is responsible for obtaining required deposits and final billing statements
• Responsible for managing all operational aspects of the Community Center
• Responsible for operation and maintenance of all mechanical and technical systems in the Community Center
• Implementation of policies and procedures as they relate to Center operations and on-going review and addition/revisions as necessary
• Coordination of events at the Center
• Technical expertise to assist Community Center guests with event related needs
• Maintenance of records as they relate to events and maintenance at the Center
• Active participation in marketing efforts for Center
• In house sales
• Sales calls to potential groups/events managers
• Preparation of proposals & Presentation for the Community Center
• Event accounting and monthly reporting on Community Center
• Supervision of Center personnel
• Assist in developing, implementing, maintaining and reviewing of company policies, rules and regulations in compliance with all.

 Job Nature: Full-time

Age: 35 to 45 year(s)

Educational Requirements:

• Post Graduate in any discipline from a reputed university.

Experience Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Convention Center, Catering Service, Community Center, Party Center, Chain Food Shop

• Strong motivational and influential people skills
• Extensive and relevant knowledge on Convention Center
• An eye for detail and the ability to drive consistent brand standards
• Experience of managing people and driving business performance
• Excellent computer skill
• Have Excellent communication skill (speaking & writing) both English & Bangla.
