Plant Engineer
Entry-level Role

Your tasks and resposibilities

  • Operate, monitor and control the process parameters of the plant and power generators for optimum productivity.
  • Responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignment/rotations, employee training, employee vacation, employee break, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
  • Responsible for quality control, make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specification.
  • Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
  • Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of engine, manufacturing equipment, engine assembly lines and manufacturing processes, as well as providing cost reduction analyses, and improving manufacturing and assembly line processes regarding cost and efficiency.
  • Ensure preventive and routine maintenance and trouble shooting of plant and generator.
  • Responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance off all plant and building services, improvement/ modification of plant equipment, spares monitoring as needed from time to time.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers.
  • Schedule and conduct shift meetings.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work area.
  • Any specific job assigned by the Operations Manager.

Your ideal qualifications

  • Strong business acumen and ability to challenge the status quo
  • Effective diagnostic, questioning, listening & presentation skills
  • Target oriented – able to translate the sector strategy into actionable plans and revenue
  • Graduate Engineer preferably in Electrical and Mechanical
  • 2-4 years of functional level experience in production
  • Highly proficient in both written and spoken English and Bengali
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications
  • Interested to work in shift duty (day/night)

Salary: Negotiable plus other fringe benefits as per company policy
