Job Description/ Responsibility |
- Purpose of the Job: The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to the deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team in order to deliver projects according to the plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s goal and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
- Responsibilities:
- Manage project development from beginning to end.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Develop project plans and associated documents.
- Communicate with stakeholders and team members on an ongoing basis.
- Estimate all necessary resources to achieve project goals.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track and report project milestones and deliverables.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members.
- Build, develop, and grow business relationships.
- Conduct project post mortems to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Additional Job Requirements
- 5 years of direct work experience in a project management capacity.
- Certification in PMP, PRINCE2 and ITIL is preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMI-DEV and ISO 9001:2008 is preferred.
- Strong familiarity with project management software like Microsoft Project.
- Familiarity with popular programming languages and databases.
- Ability to deal with communication styles from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
