LAUGFS Gas (Bangladesh) Limited, formerly known as Petredec Elpiji Limited, is one of the largest LPG distributors in Bangladesh, importing and distributing over 50,000 MT of LPG every year. Being the only 100% owned international entity, it has entered the LPG downstream industry of Bangladesh in 2001 with the brand name of Kleenheat Gas. We have grown rapidly over the years, establishing an expansive distribution network across the country with an annual turnover exceeding USD 38 million.

LAUGFS presently operates a world-class LPG import, bottling and distribution facility in Mongla Port with a storage capacity of 1,800 MT and in the process to extend further. We distribute LPG to domestic, commercial and industrial customers with an extensive nationwide cylinder distribution network under the brand name of LAUGFS, PETREGAZ and KLEENHEAT. With a significant market share, LAUGFS is also the pioneer to introduce Autogas in Bangladesh and supplies LPG to service stations all over the country.

We are looking for the individual with a passion to achieve excellence to join the LAUGFS Gas (Bangladesh) team and fill the below position as we strive toward global expansion.

Position:
Assistant Manager – Industrial & Commercial Sales

Reports to:
Concern Line Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Business Plan (BP).
  • Adopt measures to increase industrial and commercial sales through improved vendor relationships and other effective means.
  • Understand local industries, customers and competitions in terms of industrial & commercial sales, create demand and meet the demand of the customers.
  • Represents LAUGFS sales team through trade shows and vendor meetings.
  • Manages and maintains existing industrial & commercial key accounts through strategic planning and customer service.
  • Create effective reporting and feedback models for performance, activities, customer and competitor insights.
  • Work closely with the broader sales and marketing teams and other industrial and commercial stakeholders to optimize business and customer outcomes.
  • Monitor performance of industrial and commercial sales force and make periodical review of their performance.
  • Arrange workshop and seminars to grow awareness to the customers regarding LPG uses in industrial & commercial sector in Bangladesh.
  • Conduct extensive market research and visit all over Bangladesh to develop the current business scenario of industrial & commercial sector of AUGFS.
  • Maintain close liaison with related govt. offices like Explosives, Energy & Mineral Resources department and other offices in order to develop the industrial and commercial uses of LPG and remain updated about govt. plan/initiatives on this.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

Educational Requirements

B.Sc. Engineering in Mechanical/Chemical (Preferably from BUET, KUET, RUET, CUET). Having MBA (major in marketing) from a reputed institute will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years.
