Position:  Assistant Manager, Purchase and Procurement (for Head office in Dhaka)

Requisite Academic Qualification : MBA/Masters in any discipline from any Public University or limited  private university  like East West/North South/ BRAC.
Experience : Minimum 3-4 years experience in the related area of Purchase and  Procurement from any renowned Corporate House or Multinational companies holding similar position.
Major Job Responsibilities :
  • Formulating Annual Purchase & Procurement Budget for the Group based on the Actual
    consumption during previous year
  • Preparing Activity Plan for implementing the projected Budget  under consultation and understanding with financial management for maintaining of payment schedule with the suppliers.
  • Collect annual purchase and procurement requisition/demand from various Departments/ companies well in advance of beginning the following financial year.
  • Submitting of periodical purchase demand/proposal to the Procurement Committee for  approval of tendering quotation for  required supply  
  • Market analysis and collecting of various sources of supply for various types of procuring materials.
  • Inviting tender and making Comparative Statement (CS) showing price analysis to procure at the competitive price and taking approval of management.
  • Issuing Work order with payment terms and items specification at desired standard/sample under intimation to Fin & Accts.
  • Visit working site of supplier to ensure quality supply of materials within the time schedule.
  • Interim reporting to management about work in progress about the ordered supply.
  • Receiving delivery of supply at the place of delivery  under proper specifications and documentations necessary during the time of payment.  Certification of bills against supply received and follow up with Fin & Accts to ensure timely payment.
  • Motivational reward for the subordinates through Annual Performance Evaluation
    Standard MIS reporting to management as and when required.
General Information/Attributes :
  • Computer literacy in All MS office applications is mandatory.
  • Smart and good command in English language for reporting
  • Professional attitude towards job responsibility
  • Proactive, Self motivated and able to work under pressure
Job nature : Full time and regular
Salary range : As per company scale with other compensation packages e.g. Provident Fund, Gratuity, Group
 Term and Health/Hospitalization Insurance, etc. (May be also negotiable for the deserving candidate)
