Position-1 :  Executive Director(Sales) for Head Office in Dhaka

Requisite Academic Qualification :   Ph. D or MBA/Masters in Marketing/Agricultural Business from any public/foreign university
Experience:

20-25 years working experience of Sales in Agri Business particularly in the area of Seedsand Agro chemicals (pesticide) holding similar position for at least 3-5 five years from any  fairly reputed national Corporate business house or Multinational company having  identical line of agro business with established R&D, PDS,Processing, Marketing, Sales and Distribution, etc with adequate product knowledge

Major Job Responsibilities:
               
To project a realistic Yearly Sales Budget/Target  in terms of variety wise product quantity and amount under guidelines of company policy taking into consideration of the followings:

  • To conduct  market research for collecting of intelligence report about the  competitors with their market share, price, sales policies with dealers, existing market condition, customers’ demand etc  to determine sale strategies and
    requirement.
  • To collect feed back from company’s field offices about company’ variety wise market reservation with applicable pricing of company’s product with  analytical  report for failure in achieving the fixed target.
  • To maintain regular liaison with other departments concerned e.g. Production , Seed Inventory, Processing, Packaging
  • Distribution and R&D to have a clear  idea about the product demand vs availability for sales from variety development on pipe line, production division as per seasonal production target, carried over stock in the central store, etc towards implantation of the yearly business plan.
  • To assess the quantity of  various importable product with competitive price and  proper  timing of  inward consignment.
  • To develop a workable monthly, quarterly and yearly sales plan for new and existing products with adoptable policies and strategies towards implementation of the action plan as well as sales yearly sales target/budget with gaining of a reasonable market share.
  • To determine realistic product pricing policy by utilizing market research data,  production and sales cost, market demand and user’s adaptability as well.
  • To make analysis and recommendation for price adjustment and product life cycle depending on market situation
  • To analyze and recommend for product promotion, offers, incentive and new product value proposition in conjunction with product management and marketing  team.
  • To develop a realistic credit policy under consultation with management.   
  • To develop a workable dealership policy with incentive package, if necessary on special situation.
  • To  monitor external and internal business environment for developing new market segment
  • To fix Area wise yearly individual target for sales and collection on the basis of action plan.
  • To Review the market trend time to time and undertake required research studies.
  • To Develop and maintain key business contact with different stake holders, govt. and non-govt. Organizations and related business entities to achieve  mutual benefit;
  • To Monitor the activities of all Sales forces for successful implement of the sales and collection strategies towards achievement of the target.
  • To maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation in the market and with other stakeholders, official bodies 
  •  To develop, lead, coordinate and motivate the aggressive sales team to ensure implementation of the yearly marketing sales budget through achieving of the fixed yearly target by providing of necessary logistic support.
  • To maintain effective congenial working environment by developing team spirit and mutual  relationship among the team members by establishing of official decorum and discipline/courtesy.
  • To keep the dealer list updated with the extent of their limit of credit and organize interactive discussion meeting with dealers/retailers at regular interval for boosting of sales as well as collection.
  • To collect feed back regularly about the market situation prevailed at the field to take corrective measure, if any depending on the situation.
  • To take necessary step to expand the market area by increasing the potential variety of product 
  • To make routine liaison with the Regional Managers/DM/DGM(Sales) to keep himself updated about all necessary market information.
  •  Arrange to train up sales staffs along with dealers/retailers to facilitate achieving of sales target by making them fully conversant about the product  and its quality with applicable knowledge of prescription to overcome the situation arising out of disease or any other problem like germination, low yielding, etc.
  • To undertake extensive tour program during most of the days in a month to accelerate sales and collection activities towards achievement desired target.
  • To ensure preparing of different periodical report on performance under standard MIS format for management information
  • To arrange Quarterly and Annual Review Meetings of the Sales and Marketing division
  • To organize dealers’ conference with chalking out of necessary plan for event management of the same,
  • To ensure participation to different institutional seed fairs for developing product market
  • To assess and evaluate the departmental man powers’ periodical working performance for recommending annual evaluation rewards to sustain the good performers       
  • To perform any other job to be assigned time to time by the management as demanded by situation

Position-2:  General Manager (Sales) for Head Office in Dhaka

Requisite Academic Qualification :   MBA/Masters in Marketing/Agricultural Business from any public/foreign university

Other Skill requirement and general attributes (for position 1 & 2)

  • Adequate product knowledge about all kinds of seeds e.g. vegetable, rice, cereal, oil seed including agro  chemical(pesticide) products.
  • Understand the Bangladesh agricultural system at a high level including seeds and agro chemicals, marketing, seed
    and pesticides distribution, agronomy and crop  production.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles with strong analytical skill.
  • Sound in financial and sales administration planning.
  • Proven ability to apply sales process
  • Ability to effectively coach and develop a team of professional sales and consultant personals
  • Ability to motivate people and focus efforts on achieving objectives.
  • Team player and result oriented with the ability to work with customers and staff at the location and in the region.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job nature: Full time and regular/contractual

Salary range: As per company scale with other compensation packages e.g. Provident Fund, Gratuity, Group Term and Health Insurance, etc. (May be also negotiable for the deserving candidate).               

Position-3: Sr. Manager( Electrical & Engineering Maint. for Farm Office, Gazipur

Requisite Academic Qualification : B. Sc Engineer in Electrical & Electronics from any Public University of Engineering  &Technology like BUET/CUET, etc)

Experience Requirement: Minimum 8-9 years practical experience in Sub-Station/ Generator Management, Cold Storage Management and other electrical Equipment Management from any large and reputed organization having  processing plant and storing godown with Dehumidifying/cooling system.

Office Timings: 8 (eight hours) from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (but to be resided in or around the Plant office to attend for emergency trouble shooting as and when required depending on the situation)

Major Job Responsibilities  :

  • Management and Maintenance of Generator, Electric Sub-station, AC and other cooling machines, Dehumidifier and other electrical items with controlling of desired temperature in the conditioned store/godown.  

Position-4 : Manager(Packaging) for Farm Office Bashon, Gazipur

Requisite Academic Qualification : MBA/Masters in any discipline preferably commerce background from any Public University or limited Private university  like East West/North South/ BRAC having  own campus.

Experience: Minimum 8-9 years experience holding similar position in the related work of  Packaging of seed & agro chemical product from any renowned Corporate house having  plant of Processing & packaging.

Major Job Responsibilities :

  • To Assist Seed Inventory and Store Dept in formulating of Annual Packaging Materials Requirement Budget before beginning the following financial year.
  • Preparing of Activity Plan/Schedule for packaging work throughout the year including buffer stock for meeting emergency order fulfillment.
  • To receive customer order from IFS(released)
  • To create Material requisition in IFS and submit same to Inventory Dept for seed and Packaging materials.
  • To receive Seed and Packaging materials from Inventory and Store Dept
  • To get the packet ready and enter the data of packet in IFS
  • To deliver the packet to Buffer Stock Unit.
  • To send the ready packet to Distribution Dept thro Buffer Stock Unit  
  • Maintaining of Stock Register for Packaging items showing daily inward quantity received from Store Dept and outward quantity delivered for packaging having nil balance.                                                            
  • Maintaining of Stock Register for bulk products showing daily inward quantity received from Seed Inventory and outward quantity delivered for packaging having nil balance.
  • Maintaining of Stock Register for finished products showing number/quantity of ready packets and  outward delivery to Distribution Dept through Buffer stock Unit  remaining balance of buffer stock  only.
  • Controlling of all types of pilferage and misuse in use of packaging materials and the product itself.
  • Motivational reward for the subordinates through Annual Performance Evaluation
  • Standard MIS reporting to management as and when required

Position-5 : Manager(Call Centre and Order Receiving) for Farm Office Bashon, Gazipur

Requisite Academic Qualification :

  • MBA/Masters in any discipline preferably from any Public University or limited Private university  like  East West/North South/ BRAC having  own campus.
  • Diploma in IT and professional training on “ IFS Accounting Software “ will get the added advantage for the position.

Experience : Minimum 7-8 years experience from any renowned Corporate house holding similar position in the related work of  Call Centre with knowledge of mobile technology and/or “IFS” Accounting Software.

Major Job Responsibilities :

  • To Receive Order from Regional Manager/Territory Manager through SMS/E-Mail.
  • To confirm and verify the order with dealers over phone.
  • To counter check with Finance & Accts Dept about the concerned dealer’s present status of outstanding receivables as well as his credit limit.
  • To create customer order in IFS.
  • To release customer order in IFS
  • To confirm Delivery status of order

General Information/Attributes for position 3, 4 & 5:

  • Computer literacy in All MS office applications is mandatory.
  • Smart and good command in English language for reporting
