Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements:
- To have thorough knowledge and understanding of medical machineries, equipment, instruments and devices used in hospital and diagnostic centers.
- To research, source and select best equipment and devices; coordinate their deliveries, perform equipment evaluation and determine their safety, efficacy and function-ability.
- To guide, train and support doctors, nurses, biomedical technicians to operate and maintain equipment and machineries used in the hospital/diagnostics centers.
- To liaison and maintain good working relationship with the manufacturers, suppliers and/or distributors to ensure feasibly and efficacy of the products in terms of design, function-ability and economic viability through arranging clinical tests and trial.
- To advise hospital management on planning, acquisition and use of medical equipment.
- Must be a good organizer with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skill.
- To ensure compliance with patient safety policies.
- To maintain professional development through attending seminars, workshops.
- Ability to work through ERP system of the Hospital.
- To build Disaster Management Programme (DMP) for the biomedical system of the hospital.
Job location: Dhaka with frequent travel to outside Dhaka
Job nature: Full time
Education: Masters / Bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Applied Physics from any recognized university.
Experience: Minimum 8-10 years experience in relevant field preferably in hospital
and/or diagnostic environment.
- Experience with OEM(s) will be valuable.
