About Kona Software Lab

Kona Software Lab is a dedicated R&D center pioneering Smart Card technology based development in Bangladesh. Our core solutions are designed around cryptographic security and payment industry leveraging the immense capability of smart card. 
Our team members need to go through latest technical specifications of global standardization organizations (ITU, IEC, ISO, EMV, GlobalPlatform, SmartCard Alliance etc.) for building up product requirements and designing innovative solutions.

As far as technology is concerned, we use Java, Java EE, C++, Spring, Hybernate, MyBatis. We develop software which is targeted to run on all platforms – Android, Linux, Windows, Mac etc. Most of our products require intensive logical understanding; strictly follow protocol and standard specifications; either run with large scale volume or work on quite embedded environment.

Job Description for Android Developer

• Generate product idea, stay on top of technological market/product trend
• Study technical specifications and analyze software requirements
• Opportunity to participate in end to end software development lifecycle from analysis, UML design to release documentation, even if you are a junior member in the team
• Regular code review
• Work with Korean team in Seoul, South Korea
• And lastly, we expect you to deliver code, clean code, otherwise your code will not be pushed to Git

Qualification:

• At least one year’s working experience in Android (we consider even if your thesis project is in Android)
• Minimum BSc in computer science from a reputed university
• 1-5 years of professional software development experience
• Can-do attitude with quest for knowledge and challenge
• Being a team player, leading, following or even supporting
• Expressive in communication – able to speak out what is in mind
