KAFCO Graduate Management Trainee Program (GMTP)

Karnaphuli Fertilizer Company Limited (KAFCO) is an international joint venture company engaged in manufacturing Ammonia and Urea fertilizer using state of the art technology and modern plant facilities. The Plant is located at Chattogram and Corporate Office at Dhaka.

KAFCO is seeking applications for its GMT Program from Graduates in Engineering, Chemistry, IT and Business Studies. This training will be focused to develop trainees in the areas of plant operation, technological services, plant maintenance, inspection, instrumentation, industrial environment, corporate culture and best practices. The program will comprise of the following:

  • Program duration: 12 months and will cover both classroom and On-the-Job training.
  • Allowance: A reasonable lump sum monthly remuneration will be paid during the training period.
  • Accommodation: Free of cost bachelor accommodation at the KAFCO Plant Housing.
  • Transportation: Free transportation to Plant Site and back.
  • Upon successful completion, the trainees will be awarded with training certificates. Subject to availability of suitable vacancies the best performers amongst the trainees may be considered for regular employment on competitive basis.


  • B.Sc Engineering in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical and CSE.; Masters in Chemistry; MBA majoring in Finance, Accounting, Banking, HR, Management and Marketing
  • CGPA: Not less than 3.5
  • Age: Maximum 30 years at the date of application.
  • Sound health for Industrial Environment. The selection for training program will be subject to medical fitness.
  • Commitment to training program and willing to work in rotational shifts for On-the-Job training is mandatory.
