Job Description/ Responsibility: General Manager, Sales & Marketing

Educational Requirement: MBA/M.Com (Major in Marketing)

Experience Requirement:

  • Achieve overall sales targets in terms of volume, revenue, profitability and market share of company products and to ensure consistent and sustainable growth through efficient management of overall sales operations by providing necessary strategic input, implementing strategic decisions and performing necessary periodic follow-up and evaluation.
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Sales, Marketing, advertising and promotion.
  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability by analyzing its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to assist in the development of a strategic plan for the future of the business.
  • Identify prospects and develop strategies to secure new leads—this may include target campaign strategy development, cold calling, qualification, scoping calls, competitive analysis, coordination of presentations and proposals, and follow-up activities coordinated with that plan and approach.
  • Provide timely accurate competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Work closely with Head of Sales and Marketing, Brand Manager and its team to identify business types to mitigate management view, review and coordinate sales efforts, ensuring continued focus and success in meeting and exceeding individual sales activity and revenue targets set.
  • Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
  • Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team
  • Ensure that all Executives meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes
  • Delegate authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up
  • Build capacity of the Executives in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills and work habits
  • Ability to handle product design, product sample as per customer’s need
  • Ability to communicate buyer as well as other persons and stakeholders
  • Ability to manage its department, team with good administration
  • Should have hands-on experience on Customer Relationship Management, Product & Business development as well as Vendor Management

Additional Job Requirement:

  • Hands on experience min 12 years
  • Age: Min 35 years
  • Computer knowledge with Interne Browsing is a must
  • Strong interpersonal, Motivational and leadership quality
  • Good communication skill in English and Bangla.
  • Self-motivated, Proactive and Result oriented.
