Position: Pos & Sales Representative (Male and Female)

A  Retail outlet offering a unique blend of quality branded gift items and Home Décor for the discerning eyes, for the first time in Bangladesh.  We are the newest venture of a well-reputed Group of companies based out of Dhaka. Our pilot flagship store has just opened its doors amid immense public acclaim early May 2012 Gulshan. The Group plans on expanding our locations within the year.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers entering establishments
• Ensure handling retail point of sales software
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
• Receive payment by cash, credit cards, and debit cards.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
• Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
• Process merchandise returns and exchanges.
• Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies.
• Receiving payments and reconciling them with total sales
• Maintaining clean and orderly checkout areas and also
• Move throughout the store to actively engage customers, demonstrate products, and effectively execute the sales function.

Educational Requirements: Graduation

Experience Requirements:

• At least 2 to 3 year(s) of cash handling experience in a Quality Retail environment.
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Sales, Retail, Customer Support/ Client Service, Display and Marketing
• Experience in Ms Word, Ms Excel including in cash management software, pos is preferred

Job Requirements:

• Good convincing and negotiation skills
• Strong oral and written communication skill in English – Must be able to provide service to foreigners
• Pleasing personality, self driven, result oriented and good work ethic
• Good knowledge in Customer service 
• Ability to treat clients courteously & respectfully
• Must be a team-player
