Officer/ Sr. Officer – Operational Excellence
Key accountabilities / Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the implementation of business process improvements in support of business targets.
- Apply tools, techniques, knowledge and skills from Operational Excellence to generate opportunities that deliver financial and non-financial business benefits.
- Transfer OE tools, techniques, knowledge and skills to site associates.
- Work closely with different department/ function to identify opportunities for improvement. Convert to projects/ activities along with departmental team member.
- Prepare departmental visual performance board and assuring daily/ weekly/ periodic update of the board.
- Prepare broad site improvement plan and work with department to meet the agreed performance improvement plan.
- Network with other OE resources to exchange and implement learning and good practice.
- Manage cross-functional project teams.
- Arrange advocate and green belt training sessions
- Improve site performance by utilizing Lean sigma principles, Operational Excellence tools and methodology to achieve business goals and targets.
- Utilize leadership skills to introduce new processes and ways of working within the organization.
- Developing strategy for improvement opportunities and identifying improvement projects. Make recommendations on overall program of site improvement activities.
- Capability building of employees on performance management tools/ technique.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. Engineering from reputed Universities / Institutes in any discipline preferably in IPE
- 3-5 years of similar experience in operation excellence in driving business performance covering broad range of activities and operations.
- Analytical problem solving skills, including statistical data analysis.
- Ability to operate in a team based environment.
- Basic computer knowledge & good communication skill both writing and speaking in Bengali & English.
- Degree/ Diploma/ Experience in TPM/ TQM/ OE/ Lean Sigma will be given preference.
