Operations & Resources Manager, Field Service
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily service delivery activities to enable optimal performance of customers’ power plant installations and to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that technical and operating issues/tasks are solved in optimised way.
- Lead and coach personnel within own team.
- Competency & development planning and as well as short and long term resource planning.
- Continuously improve motivation and results of the team through F2F meeting during performance management and employee engagement program.
- Plan, coordinate and direct services work order (from creation to invoice) with the aim to prioritize the orders and fulfil the customer requirements.
- Ensure resources availability and quality of works.
- Job schedule preparation and monitoring on daily basis for both Field Service & Workshop jobs.
- Act as interface with the internal and external customer during the work for better understanding and minimizing gap.
- Monitor and report the operational KPIs in order to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Ensure quality deliverance with “zero Injury mind-set”.
- Look after the compliance of the Field Service guidelines and processes.
- Coordinating with sales department and other delivery functions (Parts & Logistics, Technical Services, Contract Management, Project Management and Customer Assistance/Warranty).
- Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations and environmental policies.
Experience:
- Minimum 16 years increasingly responsible managerial experience.
- Candidates with job experience in power plants/marine/industrial at managerial level will be given preference.
- In-depth understanding of operations/maintenance management procedures.
- An analytical mind with problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Education:
- B.Sc. in Engineering / Marine Engineer Class 1 or equivalent from a reputed university/institution.
