A Large Multinational Power Generation Company with operations in Bangladesh is looking for experienced Maintenance Manager.

Maintenance Manager

Position Summary: Manage all maintenance activities, including planning, execution with targeted time frame by observing Safety & compliance regulation and reducing unplanned outages through proper planning. Manage IC&E Maintenance Engineers; Mechanical Engineers, other maintenance employee and will coordinate all Maintenance for the facility. He/She will also assist in plant operation if necessary. Will be responsible for ensuring adequate and proper spares and consumables are available and will coordinate with warehouse management to maintain the stock of the required inventories. Performs additional responsibilities/duties as may be assigned by Plant Manager from time to time.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for all plant maintenance
• Working in coordination with warehouse to maintain spares and consumables inventory
• Manage Maintenance Department employee engaged in the Maintenance of combined cycle Power Plant.
• Assist the Plant Manager in the preparation of departmental and facility budgets.
• Responsible to assure the technical and procedural correctness of maintenance plans and programs
• Administer the Maintenance Training Program
• Administer the Preventative Maintenance Program
• Administer the Employee Development/Goals Program
• Work with the Operations Manager in outage planning and execution.
• Administer maintenance/ Service contracts with OEM/ Vendors.
• Responsible for compliance with all Government, Local, Corporate Safety and Environmental Policies.
• Responsible for the planning, Scheduling recording, monitoring, analyzing and reporting of all maintenance activities
• Discharge duties as per company IMS procedures for successful implementation of the ISO and OHSAS programs.
• Have good knowledge about the implication of the safety and environmental impacts of his work.Maintains positive community relations.
• Carry out the maintenance activities following official procedure, within budgetary allocation and justified control on maintenance expenditure through proper usage of spares and consumables
• Attend Plant Emergency immediately after being informed
• Preparing all required reports as per official directives, maintaining and preserving the “Maintenance procedures”

Key Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree, Professional Registration preferred. 5 + years of full-time paid experience in the Maintenance and repair of different equipments of power generation facilities preferably in a CCPP with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• A high degree of skill in typical PC-based business computing applications such as databases, word processors, spreadsheets, etc.
• A hands-on background in GT, ST, water treatment equipment maintenance as related to high-pressure boilers, cooling water systems, and   water purification equipment.
• A working knowledge of Environmental Regulations as they pertain to the Operation and Maintenance of combined cycle generating facility.
• Experience in the Maintenance of distributed control systems, preferably Bailey Infi 90/ MHI Diasys System.
• Must possess effective oral and written communications skills.
• Willingness to work sometimes irregular, extended hours and be “on-call”
• The ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., climbing, ladders, working at heights of greater than 100 feet above grade, use respiratory protection equipment.
