Position: Head of Finance & Accounts
Job Description/ Responsibility:
- Responsible for managing the financial & regulatory function of the company in accordance with International Accounting & Auditing Standards, Company Act, Income Tax Act, RJSC, BOI, SEC & other regulatory organizations.
- Plan, develop, organize, perform, implement, direct and evaluate the day-to-day financial function of the company.
- Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet working capital needs.
- Provide timely and accurate analysis of budget, financial reports in order to assist the management in performing their responsibilities.
- Enhance, develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the company that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company.
- Proactively address any financial issues and resolve ensuring best interest of the company in a compliant manner.
- Evaluate the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the company as well as provide individuals with professional and personal growth.
Requirements:
- FCA with Masters/ MBA in Accounting/ Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managerial position preferably in pharmaceutical industry.
- Up-to-date knowledge on automated and integrated financial management software.
- Adequate knowledge in Income Tax Act, VAT Act, Company Act and other regulatory bodies related laws, rules etc.
- Adequate knowledge in the management of inventory, treasury & accounts receivable.
- Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills.
Age: Age should not be over 40 years.
