Job Description / Responsibility

• Responsible for Marketing, Merchandising and production planning.
  
• Work for business development and new buyer development as well.
  
• Work with management in formulating new business strategy for local /International market in accordance to market trend, competitors activities etc.
  
• Responsible for the merchandise starting from development till shipment the products.
  
• Ensuring fabric and accessories are in factory at right quantity and quality as per set time frame for production.
  
• Co-ordinate and liaise with buyers & factory for developing new product for marketing along with usual marketing.
  
• Provide guidance to factory to understand and follow systems & procedures of individual buyer.
  
• Coach and guide the merchandising team.
  
• Formulating new business strategy.
  
• Sourcing the best possible pricing both for marketing and merchandising.
  
• Costing plan and cost evaluation and pricing the product.
  
• Quotes and negotiate pricing for vendor on products/orders to enable vendors to obtain orders.
  
• Analyze the retail market forecast for the merchandise.
  
• Work with the suppliers for committed orders and monitor the production critical path regularly to ensure on time shipment.
  
• Coordinate buying meetings between buyers and suppliers (locally and internationally).
  
• Detail follow up of timeline of each order also follow up orders with vendors, customers and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
  
• Monitoring overall activities of suppliers, commercial, shipping, quality checking of goods, etc. to ensure smooth production and shipment.
  
• In product development process ensure that products meet customer's quality and budget requirement.
  
• Capable to solve problem that may arise during development and production.
