A Reputable Paint Manufacturing Company is looking for 'Senior Executive- Safety, health & Environment' to ensure the highest standards of safety for our Company.

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Take charge of all matters relate to safety, health and environment matters for all factory, depot & office sites.
  • Ensure compliance to all governmental, Company and Group regulations & requirements related to Safety, Health and Environment.
  • Responsible for conducting training and awareness programs for safety, health and environment.
  • Conduct checks and audits when necessary and when scheduled to check on compliance, effectiveness and efficiency of any measures taken.
  • Take necessary corrective and preventive actions.
  • Perform all functions as Secretary of the Company's Safety and Health Committee.
  • Investigate accidents, incidences, near-misses, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning or disease which has happened at the work place according to the Government's regulations and Company's procedures. Data and statistics of such incidents to be collected, analyses and maintained.
  • Ensure no machinery, plant equipment, substance, appliance or process or any description of manual labour could cause bodily injury to employees working in that work place.
  • Observe and adhere to safety and security procedures at the work place.
  • To carry out any other appropriate duties as required or deem fit by the Management.
  • To conform to QMS, EMS and OHSAS policies requirements.
  • Any other assignment as or when decided by the Management.

Employment Status: FullTime

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry, Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Public Health
  • Training/Trade Course:Knowledge in Occupational Safety, Health and Environment.,Auditing skills.,Familiar with ISO management systems will be an added advantage.
  • Skills Required: Computer Operating

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 7 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Paint
