Shipping & Logistic Officer |
Responsibilities:
- Follow up & maintain as per shipment plan and schedule with Marketing Dept., Shipping Dept. & Factory.
- Follow up with Shipping line, Transport & C&F for smooth handover goods to CFS/Port as soon as Ex-Factory the goods.
- Check all documents import/export before sending to C&F agent properly.
- Follow up C&F agent for releasing import goods from port/airport & arrange Transport
- Follow up with supplier to collect the relevant information/documents of import consignment.
- After goods handover, communicate with Forwarder/Shipping line for faster collection of Bill of Lading/Air Way Bill.
- Maintain ETD & ETA plan against all export & import shipment/consignment. • Prepare shipping reports and documents on time.
- Keeping all export & import related documentation properly.
- Work closely with Marketing and Shipping Dept and Factory on shipment issues.
- Contact transporter and arranged vehicle. • Maintain company’s vehicles.
- Perform ad hoc jobs assigned by the management
Job Nature: Full-time
Educational Requirements: Minimum Graduate/ BBA
Experience Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Commercial, Export/Import through L/C, Logistic
Additional Job Requirements:
- Age 25 to 34 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in following areas: commercial/shipping/forwarding/ import/export.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Application Software.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
