A large company in service sector is going to launch Direct to Home (DTH) TV services in Bangladesh. It aims to be a key player in the household category to deliver best quality TV viewing experiences to the viewers at affordable cost. At this moment, we are in search of suitable candidate for the following position.
Manager/Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing

Responsibilities  :




MBA (Marketing) preferable from renowned public/private university.

  • Plan, develop, implement annual brand planning activities including budget.
  • Plan, develop, implement and initiate marketing initiatives and activities.
  • Initiatives and activities of brand planning include campaigns (TV, Radio, Print, Outdoor, Web, Broadcast, etc.), events, corporate responsibility programs and sponsorships.
  • Managing and supervising production of TV, Radio, Print and Outdoor campaigns from concept stage till release while ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Plan, develop media planning, media buying and executing in planned way managing resources.
  • Plan, develop, implement marketing research for DTH business operations to target customer, segmentation, competitor brand portfolio.
  • Plan, develop and production of all POS materials and sales support material for campaigns and promotions
  • Plan, develop implement products/services packaging, and designing activities
  • Plan, develop, implement new market opportunities for portfolio development and building block for enlarging DTH market.
  • Sourcing, appointing vendors (Film Producers, Photographers, Printers, Processors)
  • Brand sales analysis and follow up for brand profitability and maintain/ analyze/evaluate AOP expenses.
  • Providing market analysis information pertaining to competitors, trends and activities.
  • Any other job as assigned by supervisor

5-8 years of brand management in a consumer goods, services or media company. Exposure to Television/ Media and entertainment space preferred.

Very good communication skills, Self-motivated and ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues. Understand and develop long term business vision. Coordination and planning of budgets, people and time management. Recognize problems and reacting quickly and effectively to resolve them. Analytical expertise in understanding complex issues and their consequences

Good in MS Office application, MS Project, Adobe suits (Photoshop, Illustrator), SPSS.
