A renowned multi-national company engaged in power engineering and industrial facilities is recruiting a professional for the post of Manager – Finance and Accounts. This is a locally employed position based in Dhaka.

Position: Manager – Finance and Accounts

The Manager - Finance and Accounts will work under the direct supervision of the Executive Director to manage Finance and Accounts of the company. The Manager - Finance and Accounts is responsible to ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and performed with full compliance with accounting regulations and country compliance.

Kay Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the adequacy of financial controls, bookkeeping, timely financial reporting, accurately manage monthly activities and reporting
  • Prepare financial summary reports and financial analysis on monthly and quarterly basis
  • Managing accounts payable and receivables, bill processing, voucher preparation and payment processing
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Liaison with HQ to ensure accounting records are maintained in a systematic and professional manner to facilitate ease of future audit
  • Acting as Petty Cash custodian, executing all authorized petty cash transactions and bank payment
  • Prepare and process payroll
  • Ensure all taxation and other legal requirements pertaining to financial transactions are met as well as preparing calculations and payments for all in-country taxation and VAT reports
  • Other similar tasks and responsibilities that the management might reasonably request

Required Qualification and Competencies:

  • Master Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or CA course completed
  • Further training and skills in financial controlling and auditing is preferable
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience with at least three or more years work history in Accounting preferably with a multinational company
  • Knowledge and experience with Bangladesh Tax and VAT regulations for companies and its practices
  • Excellent command of English, verbal and writing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including advance expertise in Excel
  • Ability to work well within a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and strong commitment to meet deadlines
  • Proven integrity and through attention to details are required
  • Excellent in written and verbal communication
  • Age Range: 35-45 years
