Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and regularly update financial model(s) as per Finance Documents.
- Assist in preparation of documents for loan drawdown and repayments.
- Assist with timely and accurate reporting to the lenders as per various Finance Document.
- Assist to prepare required applications for approval of Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory authorities and subsequent follow up on those applications.
- Assist with the periodic reporting to different departments of Group in Singapore.
- Submission of periodic reports to the regulatory authorities and Account Bank.
- Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the BU’s performance against historical, budgeted and forecasted results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget.
- Support Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) business unit by being the first point of contact for issues and questions.
- Assist with the preparation of budget and periodic forecast for submission to the Group, lenders and regulators.
- Preparation of Monthly Invoice(s) in coordination with relevant department for submission to the Off taker as per relevant Agreement.
- Support Commercial Team in Business Development and other commercial issues
- Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls, tax, VAT etc. and apply them.
Required qualification and experience:
- Experience in developing Financial Models for large infrastructure projects.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is a must.
- More than 5 years working experience in multinationals, reputed financial institutions or large corporate
- A Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA/ACCA preferred.
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Bengali and English
