Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performing my work with always these things in mind : Safety, Reliability & Cost Effective
- Execution of routine, predictive and corrective maintenance activities as per the scheduled
- Updating my Supervisor/Engineer of job progress and any difficulty faced carrying out the work
- Giving feedback to my Supervisor /Engineer on spares requirement, work improvement methods etc…
- Ensure that I maintain reliability and availability of equipment I repair by adhering to vendor’s manual and good job practices.
- Assist Supervisor/Engineer in job planning & preparation
- Participate in safety meetings and safety program to ensure Safety focus in job execution
- Participate in SMART projects to improve plant reliability & availability
- Ensuring that contract workforce working with me are working safely and adhering to safe work practices and company rules & regulations
- Assist Supervisor/Engineer in spares planning and procurement
- Performing plant walkabout in terms of safety and equipment health monitoring and giving feedback of any abnormalities found
- Participate and a member of company’s Emergency Response Plan
- Execute Corrective, Preventive and Predictive maintenance activities in a Safe, Reliable & Cost Effective Manner
- Participate in Safety Programs organize by Safety Department
- Participate in SMART program organize by Department
- Updating Supervisor/Engineer on job progress and improvement activities
- Assist Supervisor/Engineers on spares verification
- Assist Supervisor/Engineers on job planning, spares identification and execution
- Participating in plant walkabout program for safety and equipment health monitoring
- Assist Supervisor/Engineer of shutdown planning
- Maintaining workshop in clean condition and tracking consumable material status.
- Bring up EHS concerns to the attention of his direct supervisor or EHS department.
- Be vigilant in the work area, identify and report to their Supervisors about imminent dangers / hazards / concerns to environment, health and safety.
- Always follow the standard operations control procedures so as to avoid any activity which might lead to EHS incidents / nonconformities.
- Follow sound environment health and safety practices on and off duty.
- Perform task as assigned by immediate supervisor as and when required.
Required qualification and experience:
Education: B.Sc in Electrical/ I&C Engineering or Diploma in Electrical/ I&C Engineering / Higher Secondary Certificate (with at least 7 years practical experience) from a recognized college/university/institution.
Prior Work Experience: 5-7 years experiences in a power plant or similar industry with power plant (Turbine and Boiler) or Utilities Plant.
Additional Training/Qualification: Computer Literacy in MS Office.
Knowledge: Good engineering knowledge in related field.
Language Proficiency: Working Knowledge both in English & Bangla.
