A large multinational company is looking for experienced personnel for the following positions for their Sirajganj project;

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor the scheduled and routine maintenance activities to ensure work carried out as per specifications and procedures.
• Monitor the progress of the maintenance and associated Mechanical activities and take the necessary actions for timely completion.
• Arrange spares and contract services required for the maintenance activities.
• Reviewing the work methods / procedures / frequencies for improvement by planning and execution of scheduled, routine, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Support other department for continual improvement of system-I&C, Mechanical, Health, Safety & Environment.
• Plan and execute  GT schedules outages CI/HGPI and boiler tube replacement works
• Procurement of important spares and follow-up of purchase of spares to ensure delivery.
• Supervise and monitor maintenance and overhaul activities with timely completion and ensure work carried out as per specification.
• Trouble shooting/fault diagnosis/failure analysis to address failure and breakdown of equipment.
• Provide on the job training to subordinates to make them able to handle the jobs independently.
• Attend various inter-discipline, inter-departmental meeting for co-ordination and resolving various plant related issues.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements without compromise.
• Develop modification proposals for plant to make it more reliable and available.
• Participate in plant improvement projects as well as  various plant  committees
• Responsible for calibration and maintenance of all online analyzer / instruments for continuous monitoring the environmental parameters
• Maintain relevant compliance records
• Ensure that all the documents related to EHS are developed and maintained
• Ensure that all the documents related to Fire & Gas are developed and maintained
• Always follow the standard operations control procedures so as to avoid any activity which might lead to EHS incidents / nonconformities.
• Follow sound environment health and safety practices on and off duty
• Perform task as assigned by immediate supervisor as and when required.

Required qualification and experience:

Education: B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized college/university/institution.

Prior Work Experience: 12 years experiences in a power plant or similar industry with power plant (Turbine and Boiler) or Utilities Plant. Experienced in Maintenance of Gas Turbines, Steam Turbine & Boilers.  Previous exposure to operations of Cogen plant will be added advantage.

Additional Training/Qualification: Familiar with SAP, Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statement and Permit to Work application requirements and procedures. Computer literacy in MS office is a must.

Knowledge: Knowledge of Rotating Equipment and Vibration Analysis will be added advantage.

Skills and Abilities: Able to work independently, take initiative and work in accordance to company’s general interest in Power Industry. Has proven track records to work under pressure in tight maintenance schedule and live facilities. Ability to foresee and resolve issues before surfacing would be an added advantage. Ability to maintain good work documentation and is familiar with ISO documentation requirements. Able to communicate effectively for prompt resolution to plant matters. Must have high level of integrity, able to generate trust and build alliances with co-workers.

Language Proficiency: Good Working Knowledge both in English & Bangla.
