A large multinational company is looking for experienced personnel for the following positions for their Sirajganj project;

Duties & Responsibilities:

• By closely monitoring the operational parameters
• To run-up and shutdown the plant and their auxiliaries safely under the supervision of SCE/ AMS.
• To raise work orders on faulty equipment or abnormal occurrence to maintenance sections for rectification.
• To run-up and shutdown the plant and their auxiliaries safely under the supervision of SCE/AMS
• Assisting SCE/AMS in conducting daily, weekly and monthly operational tests and plant inspection
• To raise work orders on faulty equipment or abnormal occurrence to maintenance sections for rectification.
• To carry out 415 V electrical and/or mechanical isolation and ensure safety requirements are adhere under the supervision of SCE/AMS
• Involvement in the Business Continuity Unit Plan for Operations Department
• Any other duties assigned by supervisors
• Bring up EHS concerns to the attention of his direct supervisor or EHS department.
• Be vigilant in the work area, identify and report to their Supervisors about imminent dangers / hazards / concerns to environment, health and safety.
• Always follow the standard operations control procedures so as to avoid any activity which might lead to EHS incidents / nonconformities.
• Follow environment health and safety practices on and off duty.

Required qualification and experience:

Education:B.Sc or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized college/ university/ institution.

Prior Work Experience: 3-5 year experience in a power plant or similar industry in plant operation; experience in Water and Power Plant Operations, preferably having Boiler / Steam Engineers Certificate.

Additional Training/Qualification: A hands-on background in Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, water treatment equipment, high-pressure boilers, cooling water systems, Electrical systems equipment’s operation.

Knowledge: Should have knowledge of Fire Fighting / First Aid skills, Boilers, Gas turbine, Steam turbine, Various equipment in the plant.

Skills and Abilities:  Must be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

Language Proficiency: Good Working Knowledge both in English & Bangla.
