A large multinational company is looking for experienced personnel for the following positions for their Sirajganj project;

Duties & Responsibilities:

• By closely monitoring the operational parameters.
• To run-up and shutdown the plant and their auxiliaries safely under the supervision of SCE/AMS.
• To raise work orders on faulty equipment or abnormal occurrence to maintenance sections for rectification.
• To carry out 11KV/415V switching and isolations under the supervision of SCE/AMS
• To train and supervise subordinate staff in carrying out their duties including regular checks/tests on plant/equipment.
• Man the unit control panel & review computer printout & operator console displays of operating parameters. Take necessary steps to correct deviations
• Involvement in the Business Continuity Unit Plan for Operations Department.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisors.
• Bring up EHS concerns to the attention of his direct supervisor or EHS department.
• Be vigilant in the work area, identify and report to their Supervisors about imminent dangers / hazards / concerns to environment, health and safety.
• Always follow the standard operations control procedures so as to avoid any activity which might lead to EHS incidents / nonconformities.
• Follow environment health and safety practices on and off duty.

Required qualification and experience:

Education: B.Sc or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized college/ university/ institution.

Prior Work Experience: 5-7 year experience in a power plant or similar industry in plant operation; experience in Water and Power Plant Operations, preferably having Boiler / Steam Engineers Certificate.

Additional Training/Qualification: A hands-on background in Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, water treatment equipment, high-pressure boilers, cooling water systems, Electrical systems equipment’s operation.

Knowledge: Should have knowledge of Fire Fighting / First Aid skills, Boilers, Gas turbine, Steam turbine, Interpret of logic diagrams, Interpret of plant diagrams and location of the equipment, Various equipment in the plant, Customer requirements and Water Plant – RO and MSF

Skills and Abilities:  Strong analytical skills. Must be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Language Proficiency: Good Working Knowledge both in English & Bangla.
