Job Title: Assistant Engineer

Department: Planning Architecture and Designing, Technology

Essential Job Responsibility:

• To plan/implement/configure/ troubleshoot IP/MPLS network services.
• Strong knowledge on IP Routing (Static, OSPF, ISIS and BGP)
• Strong knowledge on Ethernet Switching technologies (VLAN, Trunk, Access, STP, Ether-Channel)
• Strong knowledge on IP Network Security.
• Communicate with staff, vendors and customers in a courteous, professional manner at all times. 
• Document configurations, and scripts, and all other relevant information in a repository and maintain it regularly.
• Design Solution based on requirements.

Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities:  
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to fulfill job function or as assigned.

Knowledge of:

• Various networking technologies.
• General office practices and procedures.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Education and Experience:

• At least a Bachelors’ degree in CS/CSE/EEE/ETE/ECE or related field;
  
• 0 to 2 years of experience with ISP/Telecom industry.
• Candidates having relevant certification Cisco / Juniper and knowledge on SDH/DWDM will be preferred.
