Job Opportunity at a Renowned Telecommunication Service Provider

We are a fast growing telecommunication infrastructure support provider, operating with the state of the art technology. We have presence throughout the country through our network and services.

We are seeking a smart, energetic and articulated person for the below mentioned scope.

Job Title: Head of NOC

Department: Network Operations Center

Essential Job Responsibility:

  • Leading a team of NOC engineers to support organizational operations & Services.
  • Conduct strategic analysis, select and implement strategy for NOC.
  • Lead the escalation process for resolving network and systems events affecting customers.
  • Take ownership of major incidents in the network.
  • Ensure that all levels of network maintenance and support are utilized correctly and in a timely manner in line with contractually agreed service levels.
  • Manage communication flow of trouble tickets among the several competence groups in Network Operation.
  • Manage the implementation/development of relevant O&M processes.
  • Interface with planning and implementation team to handle end Customer Complaints and resolve in collaboration with Operations group.
  • Support management to deliver regular reports on SLA activity and quality.
  • Implement new tools to improve alarm/fault correlation and thus increase operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that the change management process is enforced in its full form and force.
  • Coordinate cross-functional technical support to meet operational challenges and unforeseen events.
  • Utilize and optimize resources and increase functional productivity & efficiency.
  • Manage cross functional activities and design or improve existing process & procedures.
  • End to End fault management and ensure network and service availability.
  • Develop team competence and achieve higher level of operational efficiency.
  • Motivate employees, ensure enough challenges and achieve organizational goals.
  • Manage and establish good interaction with other parts of the organization.
  • Involvements in different projects throughout the organization.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Educational Requirements:

  • BSc Engineer in EEE/ECE/CSE from any reputed UGC approved University.
  • MBA will be preferable.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in related field.
  • Experience in the following area(s) will be added advantage:
    • NOC/SOC, Telco Operations and Maintenance.
