We are seeking a smart, energetic and articulated person for the below mentioned scope.

Job Title: Senior Manager/ Manager

Department: IT

Essential Job Responsibility:

  • To plan/implement/configure/manage/administrate/troubleshoot all kinds of ICT network in the company as a system admin.
  • Manage ISP and IPTSP Systems on required hardware platforms in a production environment with minimum downtime. 
  • Manage all internet applications inclusive to, but not limited to DNS, file server, mail server (Qmail & Postfix with antivirus/spam filter), gateway, proxy, apache web server, MRTG (Cacti), RAID, VPN, VLAN, CISCO router, CISCO/D-Link/LinkSys switches.
  • Configuring and securing the network with IPTABLES firewall, CISCO ACL (in router) along with monitoring the network with NAGIOS, CACTI, MRTG etc and controlling bandwidth using HTB.
  •  Design, configure, install and maintain all hardware including, but not limited to clustered, stand alone servers, blade servers, running VMware, and storage solutions including, RAID, and SAN technology. 
  • Provide technical support, training and technical documentation to the Information Technology team, auxiliary departments and contractors. 
  • Work with the Data Network Engineer to monitor the integrity and system reliability and traffic patterns of the ISP, Webhosting and Campus networks. 
  • Work with the Data Network Engineer and other personnel/departments to analyze hardware requirements and alternatives and make acquisition recommendations. 
  • Provide superior customer support for Webhosting, ISP and LAN Customers on troubleshooting escalated support troubles.
  • Communicate with staff, vendors and customers in a courteous, professional manner at all times. 
  • Document server configurations, and scripts, and all other relevant information in a repository to share information.

Education and Experience:
Any combination equivalent to the following education and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities would qualify. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be: Bachelors’ degree in computer science or related field; 8 to 10 years of experience with ISP industry in a service environment.
