We are seeking a smart, energetic and articulated person for the below mentioned scope.

Department: MD‘s Office

Job Responsibility:

• To support the legal needs of the company to ensure company’s interest.
• To vet & provide legal opinions on various kinds of business documents.
• To advise on regulatory and legal requirements.
• To monitor, co-ordinate and interact with the legal advisors of the group regarding legal issues including litigation & documentation and also cross check their opinions.
• Ensure complete regulatory compliance.
• Align internal value chain on legal requirements of HR/Technical/Finance/Regulatory Affairs Department.
• Responsible for preparing/negotiating or reviewing contracts with other licensed operators (interconnection, access, site sharing / collocation / network sharing / national wholesale transmission capacities) and initiating and following-up legal procedures in these areas (i.e. regulatory, contracts, antitrust etc.) in collaboration with the legal department.
• Establish meaningful & respectful stakeholder rapport including effective stakeholder mapping.
• Lead in regards to statutory support requirement to Law Enforcement Agencies.
• Follow up agreements before the expiry of all agreements.
• Deal with all legal issues regarding land rent and purchase of the company.
• Responsible for all agreements of the company (land/premises rent or purchase, sales contracts etc.) and ensure timely renegotiation or termination of contracts.

• Relevant experience required: 7+ years.
• The candidate must have LL.B (Hon`s)/LL.M from any reputed local or foreign University with good academic record.
• The candidate must be enrolled with Bangladesh Bar Council and have membership of Dhaka Bar Association or Chittagong Bar Association or any other local bar.
• Ethical confidentiality mustbe a priority character trait, since multiple objectives shall be handled by the candidate that requires professionalism, confidentiality, ethical and moral standards.
• The ideal candidate must have the ability to operate independently and collaboratively.
