IUT welcomes applications from qualified candidates for the following positions for its Departments of
Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Mechanical & Chemical Engineering (MCE), Civil & Environmental
Engineering (CEE) and Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE):

Assistant Professor
(CEE) |
The candidates must possess a First Class B.Sc. (Engg.) Degree or
equivalent in the relevant branch of Engineering from a recognized
University / Institution plus 4 years of professional experience and at least 1
research paper in a refereed journal.
OR
The candidates must possess a First Class B.Sc. (Engg.) Degree or
equivalent in the relevant branch of Engineering from a recognized
University / Institution plus 3 years of professional experience of which 1-
year in active University teaching and at least 1 research paper in a refereed
journal.
OR
The candidates must possess a First Class B.Sc. (Engg.) Degree and M.Sc.
(Engg.) or equivalent in the relevant branch of Engineering from a
recognized University / Institution plus 3 years of professional experience
and at least 1 research paper in a refereed journal.
OR
The candidates must possess a First Class B.Sc. (Engg.) Degree and M.Sc.
(Engg.) or equivalent in the relevant branch of Engineering from a
recognized University / Institution plus 2 years of professional experience of
which 1 year in active University teaching and at least 1 research paper in a
refereed journal.
OR
The candidates must possess a First Class B.Sc. (Engg.) Degree and Ph.D. or
equivalent in the relevant branch of Engineering from a recognized
University / Institution. |
Assistant Professor
(CSE) |
The candidates must possess a First Class B.Sc. Degree in CSE (4 years programme) or an equivalent Degree from a recognized University /
Institution or First Class M.Sc. Degree in the relevant branch from a
recognized University / Institution plus 4 years of professional experience
and at least 1 research paper in a refereed journal.
OR
The candidates must possess a First Class B.Sc. Degree in CSE (4 years programme) or an equivalent Degree from a recognized University /
Institution or First Class M.Sc. Degree in the relevant branch from a
recognized University / Institution plus 3 years of professional experience of
which 1-year in the active University teaching and at least 1 research paper
in a refereed journal.
OR
The candidates must possess a First Class B.Sc. Degree in CSE (4 years programme) and M.Sc. (CSE) or an equivalent Degree from a recognized
University / Institution plus 3 years of professional experience and at least 1
research paper in a refereed journal.
OR
The candidates must possess a First Class B.Sc. Degree in CSE (4 years
programme) and M.Sc. (CSE) or an equivalent Degree from a recognized
University / Institution plus 2 years of professional experience of which 1
year in active University teaching and at least 1 research paper in a refereed
journal.
OR
The candidates must possess a First Class B.Sc. Degree in CSE (4 years
programme) or an equivalent Degree from a recognized University /
Institution and Ph.D. or equivalent in the relevant stream from a recognized
University / Institution. |
Lecturer
(MCE, CEE, EEE and CSE) |
The candidate must possess a First Class B.Sc. (Engg.) Degree or equivalent
in the relevant branch of Engineering from a recognized University /
Institution. |
Terms and Conditions:
All the above-mentioned appointments will be on purely contractual basis for a period
of 06 (six) months from the date of joining which may not be extended. The monthly
consolidated remuneration for the post of Assistant Professor is US$ 1,000 while that
of Lecturer is US$ 700. There will be no other allowance and benefit whatsoever.
