Job Description:
- Manage network operations, troubleshooting connectivity problems, installing and maintaining WiMAX CPE, WiFi networking products, Mikrotik Routers.
- Responsible for installation Maintenance of equipments and Internet backbone, VSAT, WiMAX Base, CPE, Wireless Router, Routers and firewall Installation, configuration of server based applications.
- Monitoring network traffic and take appropriate measures for any trouble. Ensure for the availability, continuity and security of data and information pertaining to the organization. Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
- Plans, designs and implements data connectivity for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems; assists in providing network and remote connectivity hardware/software support; installs, maintains, and troubleshoots
- Managing all aspects of system monitoring and reporting (including 24/7 support for critical services)
- installing, supporting and maintaining new server hardware and software infrastructure;
- managing email, anti-spam and virus protection;
- monitoring network usage;
- suggesting and providing IT solutions to business and management problems;
- undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network security, particularly if the network connects to the internet;
- supervising other staff, such as help-desk technicians;
Education Qualification: BSc. in Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.
Other Skills:
- Team spirit and great ability to learn
- Fluent in English communication (written and spoken)
- Minimum 4 to 6 years working experience in National wide ISP, WIMAX ISP,
Vendor Certificate: CCNA, CCNP, RHCE, MTCNA
