Ipas Bangladesh is seeking applications from hardworking, sincere and cheerful individuals for the following positions for its country program:

Project Coordinator – Mobile App for Rohingya Refugees Project (01 Position based in Cox’s Bazar) for four months starting from mid of January 2019.

Job Summary:

Project Coordinator – Mobile App for Rohingya Refugees project will be responsible for planning, coordination, providing support for implementation of the quality of the project activities in the camps for Rohingya Refugees. The coordinator will also coordinate with Ipas Bangladesh Offices in Cox’s Bazar and Dhaka, local Govt., camp in-charges and Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner (RRRC).

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist in training sessions for staff and participating community leaders on the ground;
  • Communication with Dhaka office;
  • Foster partnerships and coordinate activities with partner organizations in the camp;
  • Ensure disbursements are made to run project activities;
  • Create feedback sheets to be used by staff to collect qualitative feedback on each activity in order to see what’s working and what’s not;
  • Debrief activities with staff weekly to gather their feedback and troubleshoot on what’s not working;
  • Consolidate data collected and feedback from all experiments;
  • Make suggestions for improvements;
  • Ensure improvements are shared across Experiments 1 and 2;
  • Update Dhaka office in a 1-2 h debrief session, weekly.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Advanced degree in Social Science Public Health Development studies or relevant field At least 5 years’ experience in reproductive health project implementation.
  • Good articulation skill and proactive;
  • Experience in the camp setting;
  • Able to be based full-time in Cox’s Bazar;
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and willing to extensive travel for program activities including training events, support in facility improvement, supply of logistics, follow-up supervision and monitoring activities.
  • Able to understand Rohingya and interested in improving her/his understanding;
  • Understand qualitative research
  • Fluent in local language (including able to communicate with Rohingya population), Bangla and English
  • Good computer skills

Salary & Benefit:
Monthly consolidated salary for the position will be BDT 70,000 - 80,000 depending upon experience and qualification.
