We are looking for self-driven individuals to join us for the following position in Dhaka, Bangladesh
Position: Production Compliance Manager
Education& Experience:
- Degree in any discipline with 3-5 years’ experience in Quality Control/ Compliance in a similar industry or in a third party QC agency.Out of which minimum 3 years experience would be required in factory root cause and management system audit and training development.
- Should be certified in one or more of the following training ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SA8000, ICTI, WRAP, IRCA or other social auditing training.
Additional Requirement:
- Thorough understanding of the manufacturing process requirements for Apparel, Hardline General Merchandise, or Food Products based on the set of factories and per region and country
- Thorough knowledge of raw material requirements and comprehension of the production process necessary to deliver product to final packing and shipping stages at the facility.
- Experience conducting compliance audit in factories, especially in the apparel industry
- Experience in working in production environments and with brands.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work well within a multicultural remote team, diplomatic and adept at conflict resolution.
- Ability to engage effectively and communicate at different levels with Vendor/Factories, 3rd party QC and Client internal stakeholders
- Strong understanding of responsible sourcing systems, processed used by global brands and retailers to pre-qualify & improve suppliers.
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Self-motivated, proactive with ability to make things happen on time
- Good communication skills with ability to articulate concepts, solutions at executive level
- Ability to travel domestic frequently based on the set of factories allocated to the position.
Responsibilities:
- Validate Production actuals onsite at facility based on our client investment by SKU per factory
- Will work onsite at factory during production validating raw materials, piece count and final production counts
- Will need to closely monitor all aspects of the production process to ensure it is aligned to the planned piece count investment
- Maintain on going contact and relationship building with the factory production leads and management
- Work closely with the factory production leads and management, hence the role will entail building the relationship at the onset and maintaining the relationship ongoing to ensure production schedules are visible
- Prepare our client`s production schedules with the factory collaboratively on an ongoing basis
- Reporting Production Metrics by Factory
- An outcome of the production compliance audits will be reporting the specific production schedules, piece count findings and validation of finished goods being completed in the facilities in questions
- The metric detail will also involve reporting on piece count milestones that will also monitor on time production based on the plan
- This detail will be required to be distributed to our client Compliance Global Vendor Management and its procurement across different business units and brands on an ongoing basis.
