Architect

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Confer with client to determine factors affecting planning interior environments, such as budget, architectural preference, and purpose and function
• Advise client on interior design factors such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishing or equipment, and color coordination
• Coordinate with other professionals, such as contractors, engineers and technicians to ensure job success
• Sketch primary design and development plan, prepare final plans using computer application and hand illustration
• Preparing the 2D, 3D designs of the project
• Review and detailed drawing for construction plans
• Estimate material requirement and costs, and present design to client for approval
• Subcontract fabrication, installation, and arrangement of lighting, carpeting, fixtures, accessories, draperies, paint and wall coverings, art work, furniture, and related items
• Formulate environmental plan to be practical, esthetic, and conducive to intended purposes, such as raising productivity or selling merchandise
• Select or design, and purchase furnishings, art works, and accessories
• Render design ideas in form of paste-ups or drawings
• Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project cost with team
• Plan and design corporate branding factor with higher management

Job Nature: Full Time

Educational Requirement:

• Bachelor of Architecture from any reputed university

Experience Requirement:

• Candidates with related experience will be preferred, but not mandatory

Additional Job Requirement:

• Should be good in hand sketching
• Should know to operate 3D
• Should have the knowledge of material and sourcing
• Should have the ability to understand the requirement and taste of high-end clients
• Should have good negotiation skill
• Should have good efficiency to communicate in English
• Good team player
• Flexible about office timing considering the work load (when requires)
