Integrated Farm Management Component (IFMC)

 

Young Professionals (YPs)

The Integrated Farm Management Component (IFMC), a Danida and GoB funded Program for the development of the Agricultural Sector in Bangladesh, started in 2013 and will continue until December, 2018. IFMC is implemented by Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) under the Ministry of Agriculture. IFMC-II will start from January 2019.

The project works with its beneficiaries to increase production through Farmer Field Schools (FFS) and support to Farmer Organizations (FOs) to organize collective marketing. Target beneficiaries are poor female and male members of landless, marginal and small farming households.

IFMC seeks 20 qualified candidates for the position of Young Professionals (YP), who will be posted in the North-West. These positions are for 2 (TWO) months, i.e. Nov-Dec 2018. Best performing YPs might be offered a field position in the IFMC-II.
