 Construction Quality Control Manager
Job Description: Construction Quality Control Manager is responsible for performing quality control on assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and administer the QC Plan.
- Ensure all project personnel and subcontractors understand and comply with the QC requirements.
- Certify that all submittals are in compliance with contract requirements.
- Review plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met for each construction process.
- Complete necessary inspection reports and documentation.
- Inspect and evaluate the adequacy of work performed by craft, staff, and subcontractors; Identify non-conformities, analyze root causes, and take corrective measures.
- Manage and monitor required testing.
- Conduct pre-final/final inspections; establish punch list; and, ensure all deficiencies are corrected.
- Maintain and submit as-built on finished projects.
Job Requirements:
- B.sc in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of Experience in Construction Quality Management
- Strong English Communication skill
- Proficient in 2d AutoCAD
- Proficient skill Level in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- MS Project knowledge highly preferred
- Knowledgeable of basic civil and structural material specifications to the extent that all information required for material purchase, fabrication and construction is reflected on the finished drawings
- Performing temporary field support activities, when assigned, for engineering support during construction
- Assisting engineers with cost and material estimates and preliminary design studies
- Direct interface with clients
- Checking the accuracy and quality of drawings
